Description
SILPRO Fastcrete® is a fast-setting, Portland cement-based, polymer-modified, fiber-reinforced, one component, structural repair and leveling mortar. Use Fastcrete® for interior and exterior restoration of deteriorated concrete elements and slabs. It may be placed into forms or used in horizontal applications. Fastcrete® may be used as an exposed industrial wear surface or as an underlayment for resilient, carpet, laminate, ceramic tile, and wood flooring. Floor coverings can be installed in as little as 1 hour, depending on type, thickness and drying conditions.
Performance Characteristics:
- Thickness: 1/8″ to ¾” neat, ¾” to 3″ with crushed stone
- Short cure time: Thin-set applications in as little as 1 hour. Most floor coverings can be installed in as little as 2 hours
- Excellent adhesion: Fastcrete bonds readily to new and old concrete, wood, plywood, cement plaster, stone, and clean steel
- Provides a compatible bonding surface for tile and carpet adhesives
- Excellent for both screeding and troweling applications
